    • About Our Name

    AXIS means a crossroads, partnership, a “coming together” of people and ideas.

    We have chosen our name with these concepts in mind. We have brought together two sister agencies- Cariboo Chilcotin Family Resources (CCFR) Ltd. and North Central Family Resources Ltd into one agency, AXIS Family Resources Ltd. We have expanded our services since 1992 and are proud to serve children, youth, and families throughout British Columbia.

    AXIS Family Resources Ltd. is a community-based social service agency serving various regions in British Columbia. AXIS provides a variety of intensive residential and counseling support services to children, youth, families, foster parents, and adults in crisis or with challenges AXIS is an accredited organization with CARF, the Commission of Rehabilitative Facilities, as of 2003. We are funded by Ministry of Children and Family Development, Interior Health, Community Living BC, and Ministry of Community Services
